Since 1922, Michigan Bee Co. has quietly become one of Michigan’s enduring honey producers. Now led by fourth-generation beekeeper John Ebers, the company continues a tradition of producing minimally heated, unfiltered raw honey from wildflowers across Michigan. Rather than chasing trends, Michigan Bee Co. has focused on preserving honey in what it calls its “most virtuous form”—pure, raw, and never filtered.
Their honey has become one of the foundational specimens in the Honey Chronicles collection because it represents exactly what many visitors imagine when they think of authentic Michigan honey.
